Reasons for Closing the
Pool
-
Temperature is
below 69 degrees Fahrenheit
-
Water temperature
is below 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Severe weather
conditions / storms.

Water contamination
... liquid or solid stool, vomit, dead animals, etc.

Maintenance
(Pre-arranged)
-
On specified dates
for home swim meets, the pool closes early.

When school resumes
in August, pool operations are based on Parkway back to school
schedule

POOL GUEST POLICY
Each
of our family members are allowed to bring guests to the pool and must pay a
$3 per guest fee.
-
Guests
sign in with the visiting Family and the $3 fee or
pre-paid guest pass.
-
Guest passes may be purchased at the
concession stand. If passes are not available, place cash
in guest fee box.
-
Each
guest is allowed to visit Cedarmill a
maximum of 6 times per season.
Out-of-town
guests are allowed to visit at no additional charge unless
visiting over an extended period.
If
a family brings 10 or more guest on a single visit, this is
consider a "party" and must adhere to the
Pool Party guidelines to ensure the safety of ALL members
and guests |

Swimming is only allowed
when a lifeguard is on duty.
-
Horseplay, such as running,
shoving, or dunking is NOT permitted, and any other
activities at the discretion of the lifeguard.
-
Glass containers are not
allowed in the pool area.
-
Throwing of hard objects,
such as tennis balls or rocks, is not allowed.
-
“Missile-like” objects
and dive sticks are not permitted in the pool area.
-
Profanity and improper
behavior is not allowed.
-
Bicycles, skateboards and
roller blades/skates are not allowed within the
facility.
-
Usage of skateboards is
not allowed on the property at any time.
-
No pets in the pool or pool
area.
-
Children under the age of
twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult; an adult is
considered 18 years and older, OR an approved
Sitter-Nanny by a parent or guardian which is twelve
years or older.
-
The Lifeguard shall
restrict activities which may be potentially unsafe.
-
Admission to the pool is
limited to members and their guests. Members over the
age of 12 must be able to produce their membership card
upon request.
-
Guests are welcome, but you
must accompany a member and adhere to the guest rules
policy.
-
Guests must possess a
valid, unexpired guest pass upon request.
-
Admission to the pool is
refused to all persons having a contagious disease or
infectious condition.
-
All members shall drive
slowly and carefully on the driveway and approaching the
parking area of the pool.
-
The pool may be closed for
maintenance purposes, health conditions, weather, or any
other reason deemed sufficient by the pool manger and/or
Trustees / Board.
-
Only swimming apparel will
be allowed while swimming.
-
Candy wrappers, food
containers, beverages, cigarette butts and miscellaneous
waste materials are to be placed in the proper disposal
containers provided at all times.
-
Damage to club property,
including landscape and all facilities, will not be
permitted and any member that shall cause damage shall
be held personally responsible.
-
When only one guard is
on duty, there will be 10 minutes each hour whereby only
those individuals 18 years and older will be allowed in
the pool. This is known as “Adult Swim” and provides
the guard with a break.
-
No one will be permitted in
the deep water of the pool unless he/she can demonstrate
his/her ability to swim one length of the pool and have
the ability to tread water for at least 30 seconds.
-
Parents must supervise
children using the baby pool. This means being in the
baby pool area with the children and monitoring their
activity. This applies to ALL aged children.
-
Parents must supervise
their children at all times on any Cedarmill property.
-
At all times, the use of
inflatable objects in the pool is at the discretion of
the lifeguards.
-
Unnecessary conversation or
annoying the lifeguard while on duty will not be
permitted.
-
Only authorized
personnel are allowed on the lifeguard stand. All
persons entering the pool and pool grounds must obey the
instructions of the lifeguards and the instructions of
the Trustees/Board.
-
Failure to comply with
rules, regulations, or instructions may result in
dismissal from the pool area.
Diving board rules:
-
Only one person on diving
board at a time
-
Only one spring, no double
bounces
-
No diving or flips except
in the diving area of the pool.
-
Dive only from the front of
the board, not sideways
-
Diving is allowed ONLY in
deep end / diving board area, therefore NO SWIMMING in
deep end when divers are diving.
-
Always check the diving
area to be certain that it is clear prior to diving.
You cannot dive until the water is clear of swimmers /
divers, specifically that previous diver is on one of
ladders or out of diving area.

After entering the water
from the diving board, diver must swim directly to the
side of the pool or ladder and leave the deep water
-

regulations, or instructions may result in dismissal
from the area.

Smoke-free facility - smoking is not
permitted within the clubhouse.
-
Use of the Clubhouse is limited to
members and their guests.
-
Damage to club property will not be
permitted and any member that shall cause damage to any
of the items found inside the clubhouse shall be held
personally responsible.
-
Keep the clubhouse picked up and clean
when using the facility including emptying trash into
the dumpster and removing / storing all food and
beverage items.
-
Please set thermostat back to the
original temperature and all lights turned off, so as to
conserve energy.
-
Kids are not allowed
to play with the dartboard and scoring cabinet.
-
If kids play with the shuffleboard, they
should be under adult supervision at all times.
-
Adult Supervision by a member of
Cedarmill Bath and Tennis is required throughout the use
of this facility and must be present in the clubhouse
during use.
-
Private use of the clubhouse is
available, but members must complete a Request Facility
Agreement form prior to using.
-
A deposit of $100 is required for private
event usage.
-
A cleaning fee of $5.00
is required for any private event usage. This is to
cover the cost of supplied items such as: paper towels,
disposable plates and utensils, toilet paper, cleaning
supplies and other materials.
-
Private use of the
clubhouse is available, but members must complete a
Request Facility Agreement form prior to using.
