We ask all families to...  

REGISTER April 21, April 25th, or May 5th, 2012.  At that time, please be prepared to complete consent forms and sign up for 4 (four) work commitment duties for regular meets, plus one during conference.  You will write 2 checks for swim team, one for fees and one for a work commitment deposit.

Swim Team Fees (Check #1):

  • Swimmer with a Family Membership (Full or Trial) - $60 per swimmer.

  • Swim Team Only Membership - $95 per swimmer.

Work Commitment Deposit (Check #2) - $160 per family.

NOTE:  ALL FAMILIES participating in CONFERENCE are required to work.  Conference is two days, Fri evening and Sat morning (Sunday as our rain plan.)  This sign up is done at a later date.

Work Commitment Duties HELP the TEAM!  Running a successful team season requires a lot of parent involvement.  We will be hosting 3 meets this year, swimming 2 away meets, 1 Preliminary Time Trial meet (at home), and HOSTING the Conference Championship.

  • Your $160 work commitment deposit.  When all work commitments are fulfilled, your check will be returned to you.  If your family does not fulfill their work commitments, the money will be used toward Swim Team expenses.           

  • If you are not able to work on the day you signed up for, please find a substitute and/or notify the work commitment chair ASAP.  You will need to also reschedule

Work Duty Descriptions 

Be Informed.   Please read all notices placed in each family’s file folder.  The file folders, in the “blue box”, are available at each swim practice.  If you do not attend the practices, be sure to remind the children to check them.  Also, the Information will be available on the website and email.

 

Sign up to swim at MEETS during Practices.  Please be considerate of the Coaches and sign the "Swimmer Availability Sheet" telling them who is able to swim during our scheduled meets!  The “Swimmer Availability Sheet"(s) are posted on the hallway bulletin board in the pool house between the bathrooms during practices. If a swimmer signs up and later finds out they can't swim in a meet, PLEASE inform the Coaches by the Friday before the meet.

NOTE ...

  • A swimmer must attend three practices during the week to participate at the meet.  Coaches will have the final decision in cases of illness, vacation, or other reasonable excuses. 

  • Swimmers must attend three dual or tri meets to participate at the conference meet.  

Review all rules and regulations with your child.  Remember, in the interest of a safe and successful season, children showing consistent disruptive behavior will be asked to leave practice, meets, or the team per the Discipline Policy of the Cedarmill Swim Team.
