The
Cedarmill Swim Team is an excellent
opportunity for your children to improve their swimming skills, enjoy
social time with other kids from the neighborhood, and participate in
friendly competition with swim teams throughout the
St. Louis
area!
The team is composed of more than 100 swimmers, ranging in age from
about 5 to 18. There is no minimum age requirement,
but children must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted to
participate in meets. The format follows USAS
guidelines, with events for Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly,
Breaststroke, Individual Medley, Free Relay and Medley Relay.
All children on the team will get a chance to participate in
meets, regardless of their skill level.
The Cedarmill Swim Team is a member of the
Gateway Conference, which
is composed of teams similar to ours from around the
St. Louis
metro area. We are again a top ranked team and
swimming against some familiar teams and a few new ones too.
